HPC DAY 2006–2018

UK

2011 06 / 11

Science and business in partnership

The sixth annual edition and the first to run for three days. The HPC Advisory Council and the National Academy of Sciences joined the organisers.

Over three days Kyiv became a meeting point for HPC specialists, developers and researchers. The wider circle of organisers brought international speakers and Advisory Council working groups into the programme, and the Academy of Sciences contributed the real research problems the hardware was being bought for.

It was the first year the academic and commercial halves of the programme carried equal weight.
