Smaller resources, but the technology update
The first year of the war. Four technology talks in the hall of the Institute of Cybernetics — and the last gathering for two years.
HPC DAY was not a standalone event that year. It ran as the technology day on 14 October inside the Fourth International HPC-UA conference, hosted by the V. M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics and Igor Sikorsky KPI. The Institute of Cybernetics and USTAR provided support, and attendance was free with registration.
The organisers were open about the scale. The announcement said that resources were smaller that year but that the important technology update would still be delivered — and that they expected fifty-odd attendees, because times in Ukraine were hard. For comparison, more than 2,750 people had passed through HPC DAY across all the previous years.
HP was the general sponsor, Intel the innovation sponsor, with Adaptive Computing and the Technical Supercomputers Laboratory among the sponsors.
This was the last gathering before the break. For the next two autumns there was no conference at all.
Talks
A scientific session of HPC-UA ran in the same hall that day. It was not part of HPC DAY: the industry and academic halves were separate events under one roof. Titles are given as recorded.
